‘Love in Paradise’ Spoilers indicate that we all know the story of Mark and Key by now, how they met and fell in love 10 years ago and ultimately broke up because of distance and a language barrier, recently they found each other on social media again and Mark came all the way to Barbados to be with her again.

However, when Mark wanted Key to uproot her life and come be with him in California, Key decided that she just disn’t love him enough to do that. I mean, it had been ten years and ever wince Key’s near death experience she is a very day by day kind of person and doesn’t really plan foe the future that much. Mark, however, feels the big 40 gaining on him and would very much like a future with Key.

‘Love in Paradise’: Mark gains a different perspective

So, to gain some insight, he talked to his friend Genevieve. He says that Geneveive is like a little sister to him and she knows his story with Key so she’s familiar with the territory. Genevieve pointed out a lot of the red flags that we had been seeing, that Key would have to uproot her life but that Mark wasn’t really making any changes in his own.

Mark said that he did not want a long distance relationship at all and was ready to call it quits until Genevieve started pointing out all the compromises that he could make that he just hadn’t looked at until right then.

She then asked the burning question, if Mark really wanted to be with her and did not want a long distance relationship, would he be the one to possibly pick up and move his entire life to Barbados. Mark said if she had posed this question a week earlier he would have said no, but now it looks like he seriously may be considering leaving California for Barbados.

The thing is, can he? Obviously he has a life in California that he’s put on hold to come and check out this possibility with Key but would he be willing to move his entire life there just to be with her? Right now we don’t really know what Mark’s job is but we’ll assume it allows for some vacation flexibility considering he’s in Barbados right now. So we’ll see exactly how that turns out. Stay tuned!!!
