This film might be the way that we change the way we see Kristen Stewart – and perhaps even Princess Diana – forever. New reports say that the Hollywood star’s new movie, “Spencer” finally has a release date. Here’s what you need to know.
The film will cover the life-changing weekend in the early 1990s when Princess Diana decided that her marriage was over between her and Prince Charles. This was during their Christmas holiday at Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England.
Having had enough of all the scandals and royal controversies, Princess Diana announced to Charles then that she wanted to step back from life as a member of the British royal family.
Kristen Stewart’s “Diana” Film Gets Release Date
And now reports say that the highly awaited biopic will be released in the U.S. on November 5th. However, a UK release date has not yet been confirmed.
Speaking to OK! Magazine in an interview back in June, Kristen Stewart said that she loved playing Princess Diana in her upcoming film and that it was one of the coolest experiences of her career.
“She means a lot to me – but it’s all relatively new because I’m from LA and I didn’t grow up in England. Before this, she was not something that was at the forefront of my mind, because I lived so far away from it all.
Kristen added, “To be honest, I’ve now consumed pretty much all there is to consume in terms of videos and interviews. I’ve watched everything that you could hear or see. I even go to sleep with it on.”
