NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal good news for fans of the show in general, as well as fans of two of the actors. Let’s take a look at the latest DOOL news as well as some casting updates.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Renewed!
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate we were pretty confident this would happen. After all, Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali) posted a video from the set talking about being in production. However, it was recently made official. DOOL will be back for two more seasons, and we are glad to see this news.
The show, for us, keeps getting better since the big Time Jump. Yeah, we’ve had some iffy moments, but the writers are really on fire right now. We have never laughed so hard at one-liners with this show or enjoyed the crazy twists as much as what they’ve been doing lately. That leads to some other news.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Casting update
If you remember, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicated certain cast members were being given advance contracts, should the show be renewed. It looks like we see who one of those cast members is.
A recent report says Robert Scott Wilson is one of the actors confirmed to sign on for more time in Salem. Whether that time will be with on-screen love Victoria Konefal remains to be seen. We do know she’s supposed to be back this summer, but beyond that is anyone’s guess.
Personally, we’re glad to see Wilson got invited to return. He’s been doing a great job with the pain of Ciara Brady’s (Konefal) indifference. She’s actually been pretty cruel, and we’re sure that will come up at some point. At least, it needs to.
Should Ciara get her memory back and return full-time, we just don’t see her brushing off the way she behaved before leaving for South Africa. Memory loss or not, Ciara will likely feel a lot of guilt over it. Could be some interesting material, should they be able to go there.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Returning newcomer
Also listed as returning is Jackée Harry (Paulina Price). In the most recent season, she was a recurring player who brought a lot of drama and fun to Salem. And might be about to pull one over on Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
In the next season, the actress will now be a contract player. We are so glad about this. Harry is a great actress who’s balancing the fun, slightly cringy side of the character with her more vulnerable side. With the latest twist on that project of hers, she is sure to be making some big waves in Salem and we’re here for the ride.
