‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers reveal fans were not happy when Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was shot to death by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Most were sad to see the actor off the canvas, while others were not happy to see a family torn apart. Especially since some were just warming up to Franco.
Not long after, word came out that Howarth wasn’t done. This stirred a lot of discussion, and it looks like there’s finally an answer. Let’s take a look at what we know from today’s episode.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Alone in the woods
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) pulled off an escape after throwing hot tea in Not-Chloe Jennings (Kimberly J. Brown) face. This left her alone in the wilderness, something fans have been quick to point out happened with last child.
We personally didn’t mind it, though. We loved Maxie taking her soon-to-be baby to task for not being able to wait a hot minute to meet nature. But there was a big surprise ahead with this development.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Memorable entrance
When we last read something about Howarth’s GH return, fans were promised the event would be “memorable.” It certainly was. The actor returned as Austin, a supposed doctor who happened upon Maxie. He and the expectant mother traded a few comments before he got down to the business at hand—delivering that baby.
However, when the whole thing was said and done, Maxie was concerned. She asked why little Louise wasn’t crying. We’re definitely nervous about this one, as we’d hate to see Maxie deal a real stillbirth after planning to fake one. Sure, it’s a terrible thing to do to those who know Maxie and we think it comes with extra risks, but it was for a good cause.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What we know
Besides a name and supposed occupation, it’s clear that the show is going to pretend no one who comes across Austin will have a “seeing ghosts” moment. Maxie didn’t even look twice at him while they were interacting.
As far as the character, we’re hoping he’s one of the good guys and sticks around. He reminded us a lot of Franco’s lighter side, a side we love watching Howarth run with. We think he and the rest of Port Charles could have some fun moments ahead. However, some fans aren’t happy. And others are confused by this latest twist.
Said one fan, “Don’t get me wrong but how many times is a person “Killed off” and later reappear as someone else , long lost siblings or ghost … Leave the character alone if you are planning on bring the characters back in some idiotic ways.. How many time are these ladies going to deliver their children on the said of a road, a cabin, back seat of a car? Why aren’t the children delivered hence in General Hospital ??”
“The strange thing, why didn’t Maxie look at him and call him Franco?” another asked.
Finally, another fan posted, “And I guess they will pretend he doesn’t look like Franco? I don’t even see the point. Should’ve left Franco alone if he was coming back anyway.”
We’re going on record as saying we’re okay with this development and are curious to see what mysteries Austin might bring to the table.
