HBO Max’s ‘Mortal Kombat‘ is releasing this month and the cast may be as excited as we are! Actors Josh Lawson (Kano), Jessica McNamee (Sonya Blade), Joe Taslim (Sub-Zero), Ludi Lin (Liu Kang) and Max Haung (Kung Lao) sat down to watch an AI-generated tournament featuring the characters they play in the film.

McNamee was especially happy to see Sonya rip her way through the other characters as the rest of them sat in disbelief! #GirlPower right?

Take a look at the video below that was uploaded with the following description,

“Josh Lawson (Kano), Jessica McNamee (Sonya Blade), Joe Taslim (Sub-Zero), Ludi Lin (Liu Kung) and Max Huang (Kung Lao) will watch as their characters face off against one another in a Mortal Kombat tournament and only one character will come out the winner. Mortal Kombat is coming to theaters and HBO Max on April 23rd.”

Fans and viewers commented on the video, “The kast needs to have a tournament where they’re actually playing”, “Despite playing such a cold menacing character,Joe Taslim in real life seems like the most sweetest guy ever”, “I love how the guy who play sub zero actually sounds like he’s talking through a mask”, “Why is this strangely wholesome?”, “My man Joe went from a supporting character to the main villain in popular video games” and “I love how Joe acknowledges Kuai Liang as his brother lol. He should’ve played as Noob Saibot tho!”

HBO Max’s ‘Mortal Kombat’ releases this month on April 23rd.
