Jeffree Star said that there was ‘no tea’ when it came to the seemingly sudden departure of his longtime cameraman Chris, and his personal assistant, Maddie. but given how Jeffree tends to throw former friends under the bus and then pretend they slipped and fell while he wasn’t looking makes us wonder if this is actually true or not.
It also begs the question as to why these team members’ departures were worth an entire video unless he was doing this as a pre-emptive strike.
Moved on or quit? What’s the real story on Jeffree Star’s former team members?
That would make sense, because as long as Jeffree is controlling the narrative, then both his ex-personal assistant and ex-cameraman’s words won’t matter. Jeffree Star has enough money and power to keep those two from talking for a long time.
Like most high profile people, he probably makes his employees sign really, really binding NDAs and I’m guessing gives them a pretty decent-sized severance package when they leave, hence why his personal assistant Maddie has not said anything about her departure, in spite of unfollowing him way back in December of 2020.
That’s right, unlike Chris’s departure, Maddie’s departure has been going on for awhile. Jeffree spoke highly of her in his video and said that she had been there since the beginning and had basically ate, lived, and breathed Jeffree Star cosmetics.
He also said that she was starting her own business and he said he couldn’t wait to see what she did. However word has it that she’s hasn’t started her own business just yet and that right now she’s working for an apparel company out of Texas and she’s moved there for her new career.
Hmmm. While it’s certainly possible that this could be just one of those mutually agreed-upon things where they all sat down like the big found family that they are and had a deep discussion about life and feelings and how they had loved their time together but just needed to move on and spread their wings, it’s also entirely possible that there was a cold two weeks notice email put in Jeffree’s inbox and he was left scrambling, which is more than likely the case.
Whatever the story is, looks like Jeffree is going to have to get used to getting his own starbucks and filming all by his lonesome. Stay tuned!!!
