‘Outdaughtered’ spoilers find that Blayke Busby is an amazing big sister. No joke, this is going to be one long Blayke appreciation post.
Firstly, at only 4 years old, her life turned upside down as she went from only child, reveling in all of Mom and Dad’s attention to big sister to 5 baby girls. Not only does she share well with her younger sisters, her parents, Danielle Busby and Adam Busby are constantly singing her praises about how she helps around the house and with her young siblings.
‘Outdaughtered’ Spoilers: Blayke Busby- Psychiatrist in The Making
While the show is about the entire Busby family, it’s the quintuplets, Ava, Riley, Olivia, Parker and Hazel, now 5 who are usually the ones in the spotlight. Adam and Danielle do wonders with how they split their time with their kids, but 9 year old Blayke seems to get the short end of the stick, simply because she doesn’t need as much attention.
Blayke’s not going to stick a crayon up her nose or throw herself off the top of the staircase, two things I wouldn’t put past hellion and queen of awesome, Riley.
Speaking of Riley (my favorite quint and the one who will see Adam lose every hair off his head in about 10 years), she and Blayke shared a scene this week that touched fans and I can only imagine Danielle became a puddle of proud mother tears once she watched the footage along with the rest of us.
Riley is the only quint to have her own bedroom, but lately she’s been getting scared to sleep alone and sneaking into Ava and Olivia’s room. No matter what Danielle or Adam tried, they couldn’t get Riley to stay in her own room.
Step in big sister Blayke to listen to her little sister’s worries and quell Riley’s fears, reminding her movies are just fun and monsters are unequivocally not real. She recognized Riley’s fears came from being alone in the darkness and came up with the solution to leave a bathroom light on.
The only thing missing was a psychiatrist couch for Riley to lie on as Dr. Blayke also made Riley see that she will rue the day if one of her sisters takes her solo room, especially once she becomes a teenager.
Lo and behold, and to her parents delight, Riley stayed in her own room– even after traipsing through a haunted maze and coming face to face with her feared monsters.
Blayke Busby- you are a true gem, and unsung hero and I will not be surprised to see the letters PhD after your name in a couple of decades from now!
