In a recent interview with Dr. Oz, a former author friend of Chad Daybell’s, Julie Rowe, was interviewed and she had some interesting insight into Daybell’s character. She described him as socially awkward and dorky, but in the beginning she had defended him.

Being his friend she certainly didn’t think he was capable of murder, simply because no one likes to think the worst about their friends, but then Tylee and JJ’s bodies were found and she said she felt betrayed and angry, and who wouldn’t? What he did made her and anyone else in his circle who believed in him look like a fool.

    Chad Daybell sold his soul

In the interview, once you get past all the cult-speak (she is still heavily involved, you can tell), she said that due to her ‘gifts of spiritual discernment’, that she could always tell that something was ‘off’ about Daybell. She said that she had conflicting feelings toward him because while she wanted to write books with him he just gave off a weird vibe.

She said at one point she accused him of sexual assault because she said he had gone into a weird trance-like state and gotten a weird look in his eye and then lunged at her and started grinding all over her. After saying his name 3 times he had snapped out of the trance, stopped what he was doing and immediately started crying.

When asked if she ever found out why he would do such a thing to her she said he never really addressed it and she tried to confront him via text message several times but it took him months to actually respond.

I don’t know about you but I would say that that gives perfect creedence to the prosecution’s theory that Daybell is a wimpy person. It also makes one wonder if that was the kind of thing that Tylee was putting up with and perhaps that would be the reason behind wanting to get rid of her so completely.

That is just a theory, there is no basis, but it makes one wonder just what Tylee had dealt with. After all, previously in the investigation there were tales of Tylee getting out a baseball bat during an altercation for self defense, why did she feel that threatened in her own home among family members? Food for thought.

When Daybell did finally respond to Rowe’s confrontational messages in February of 2019, his response was “Wow, you really know how to burn bridges. You really don’t know me at all.” I guess the latter part is true, in a sense, she didn’t know him at all, no one did.

He continued to milk her for sympathy by saying that he and then wife, Tammy Daybell were having marital issues and that finances had also become an issue. Rowe went onto confront him about the things that he was doing to other women as well, texting and calling other women and having gaggles of them around him at book signings she accused him of misusing his alleged ‘spiritual gifts’ to get women to trust him, which is just creepy if you think about it.

Rowe said that there were rumors going around online that she wanted Chad but that they were absolutely not in any way true. She also theorized that he may have been grooming her and Lori at the same time, but that she has no actual proof of that.

Of Lori, she says she has never met Lori and that her “angels told her to stay completely away from Lori”, angels, intuition, whatever you want to call it, I think that was a wise decision on her part. Of Chad’s former wife, Tammy, who mysteriously passed away just a few weeks before Chad and Lori got married, she said that she absolutely believed that Chad killed his wife Tammy.

In 2017 he had contacted Rowe detailing visions of how he thought his wife was going to die and he said cryptically that he wouldn’t be surprised if she died in her sleep.

    Netflix’s True Crime – Chilling.

Rowe is still deep in the cult as Daybell was, so of course she’s going to share some of the same beliefs that he does. Dr. Oz asked if she thought that Daybell had crossed over into a dark place, and she said she definitely thought that he had.

She mentioned something about “signing contracts with the Luciferians”, if that’s a fancy way of saying that the man sold his soul to the devil then I would say that her gifts of discernment are way more spot on than Daybell’s ever were. Stay tuned!!!
