‘Days of our Lives’ spoilers have found that rumors have been swirling ever since head writer, Ron Carlivati revealed that Salem is soon to be embroiled in a classic whodunnit. One rumor to have quite a bit of weight suggests that Phillip Kiriakis is our murderous man.

Let’s point out that, from the get-go, we haven’t received a confirmation from Carlivati on who the victim is. Internet sleuths however, are all sure that Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) days are numbered.

There is no report of Manning departing the series he only joined last year, but when does a Days character’s death mean they are leaving the cast, anyway?

‘Days of our Lives’ Spoilers: Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) pays back mob debt with murder?

So, let’s take the over/under on this and say that Charlie will pay for his crimes in the ultimate way. That would sure frame at least a half dozen Salemites as being the culprit.

Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) or Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) all have good reason to want Charlie to pay for raping Allie in London.

Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) isn’t shy to set an adversary ablaze, and considering her boyfriend turned out to be her cousin’s rapist, we’d call that pretty adverse.

Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and Steve ‘Patch’ Johnson (Stephen Nichols) deserve to be mad as hell at Charlie for STILL not admitting to being the rapist, in turn framing Tripp.

But the most common rumor amongst DOOL fans is that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) wants to not just disown her second born son but get rid of him altogether. So, what’s a mob princess to do? Look for the person who owes her the most, of course. And that person is Philip Kiriakis.

No, Philip isn’t really the murderous type, he couldn’t even bring himself to take out rival (and cousin) Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and never followed through on the death threat to Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). However, with Brady already shot and possibly Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) or himself next, Philip might just be cornered enough to take Ava’s ne’er-do-well son (and his ex-employee who openly spied on him)out for her.

Only time will tell if this is what Carlivati was hinting at, but it sounds like it will be a fun ride on the way to finding out! Catch Days Of Our Lives weekdays at 1pm ET on NBC!
