‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Tamara Braun Thinks It’s ‘Interesting’ Working With Jay Johnson

‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that star Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali) says that while she’s so happy to be back on the set of this hit NBC soap, things have certainly changed since the last time she was there, mostly because of all the new social distancing and Covid-19 guidelines. But that hasn’t stopped her from admiring the work of some of her co-stars. Here’s what she has to say.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the actress, who previously also worked on ‘General Hospital’, says that her first day back on the set of DOOL as Ava was certainly a whirlwind.

She told the publication, “With the new Covid-19 protocols and everything and having to deal with wardrobe and hair and makeup, we didn’t have enough time before being called to set to run lines. The way we run lines now at DAYS is, we use an app to do video calls – if it works! Sometimes, especially in the first month, it was sketchy with the WiFi down there, getting it connected and all that. But when we can’t do that, we just call each other on our dressing room phones and run lines.”

Tamara also says that she wishes things were different, just so she could spend more time rehearsing with her co-star Jay Johnson (Philip Kiriakis), who she admires very much.

She continued, “Unfortunately Jay Johnson, who is such a sweetheart, and I didn’t get a chance, because they were calling me to set while I was still in makeup! It was like, ‘Hello, on set, go for it! I didn’t even have time to look at my lines before I went up to set. But I think Jay is so interesting. Such an interesting actor! I find his delivery so entertaining. He’s a great human being.”
