British Royal Family News find that she’s still Meghan from the block, you guys. Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle recently hit back at reports indicating that her son Archie Harrison’s birth certificate name change was a “snub” to Kate Middleton. Here’s what you need to know.
According to ET Online, a spokesperson for the Duchess of Sussex is hitting back at reports that suggest she changed her name on Archie Harrison’s birth certificate. The latest copy of the document shows that she’s nixed Rachel Meghan and is now listed as “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.”

What’s more, Prince Harry also added “Prince” to the document to complete his title of “His Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex.”
In a statement to the press, a spokesperson for Meghan had this to say, “The change of name on public documents in 2019 was dictated by The Palace, as confirmed by documents from senior Palace officials. This was not requested by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex nor by The Duke of Sussex.”
“To see this U.K. tabloid and their carnival of so-called ‘experts’ choose to deceptively whip this into a calculated family ‘snub’ and suggest that she would oddly want to be nameless on her child’s birth certificate, or any other legal document, would be laughable were it not offensive,” the statement continued. “There’s a lot going on in the world; let’s focus on that rather than creating clickbait.”
As many fans know, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family back in January of 2020 in what many people are calling a shock move. They have since then settled in to their new lives in California.
