She was right to worry about what the news would do to her. Maria de la Paz had a nervous crisis and had to go to the hospital. Still, we think it was misguided. There’s no way this wouldn’t have come out. Plus, Evelina is now looking for legal counsel, as she’d given Jos a fake alibi.
Elsewhere, there’s Fabiana do Rosário (Nathalia Dill), obviously hoping to work something out. She’s worried about her own future, as she took the murder photo.
Then kept it for blackmail purposes, rather than being honest with the police. So, she could get charged in connection with the crimes. But she might have something else coming first.

Or, you know, blackmail. It’s a common thing here. There’s a new person with a target on her back tonight. Jos and Agno Aguiar (Malvino Salvador) have both been wronged by Jos, and they vented to each other about it when he visited Jos.
Tonight, they make a plan to destroy Fabiana. This should be fun, and probably worse than getting arrested for Fabiana. They’re very bitter and motivated people, especially Agno.
She destroyed his relationship with his daughter and conned him. It’s seriously a villain punishment parade, and they’re dishing it out to each other.

Finally, Amadeu da Penha Matheus (Marcos Palmeira) confesses to Maria de la Paz that Jos is definitely guilty of the murders, as well as the attempt on Téo.
We’re expecting another crisis moment ahead, but we’re hopeful this thing will end with her discovering Jos isn’t really her daughter. There was another scene last night where Joana’s grandmother was mentioned in connection with Maria de la Paz’s daughter.
Maria de la Paz was too upset about Jos, so she got a little snippy. She claimed this woman can’t know a thing about her daughter, but we’re positive that’s not the case.
