Univision Médicos Spoilers: Humble pie
First, Médicos spoilers reveal Marco got the big opportunity he wanted. And he didn’t have to pretend a patient needed surgery to do it. Someone who came to him in Consulta Externa actually needed a procedure. David Paredes (Daniel Arenas) confirmed it and allowed Marco to handle it—with his and others’ backup, of course. That turned out to be a wise move.
See, Marco got a little panicky. Plus, he wasn’t quite listening to David when he told Marco to proceed calmly and take his time. Marco ended up damaging an artery and splattered David. He had to help Marco fix the damage. Later on, he gave Marco an earful about his arrogance and lack of care.
The talk clearly got to Marco. When he got home later, he told his father he’s considering getting out of plastic surgery. And this is where we feel for Marco a bit. His dad’s a harsh master and basically ordered him to stick with what the plan was. If not, Marco is on his own.
We actually have a lot of respect for Marco here. He actually left and slept at the Institute. Then, he had a long talk with Arturo Molina (Rodolfo Salas), who gave him a lot of encouragement. It came with a dose of reality as to how much work and commitment this takes, but he encouraged Marco nonetheless. Tonight will delve into this plot more, but we’ll get to that later.
Univision Médicos Spoilers: No respect
Meanwhile, poor Cynthia gets no respect. Despite all the work she put in, her father still doesn’t see her accomplishments are worthy of praise. Or even any respect. In fact, he went out of his way to go to a private hospital when he hurt his knee instead of the Institute.
Then, when he learned Cynthia was invited to sit in on the procedure, he made Patricia Guerrero (Eugenia Cauduro) promise Cynthia wouldn’t be the one actually operating.
It got worse later. Cynthia decided to take the invitation and actually got to do a lot of the procedure herself. The doctor in charge was impressed with her and even said to keep him in mind when she finishes her residency.
Dad, of course, wasn’t happy to learn she did most of the work and was his usual dismissive self. Patricia noticed and gave him an ultimatum after Cynthia left. Either he shows their daughter some basic respect, or she’s out of here.

Univision Médicos Spoilers: Take a bow
In other news, we spent part of the last couple of episodes with a certain song in mind. See, Martha (María Alicia Delgado) was on duty at the desk while René Castillo (Rodrigo Murray) had some… private time with Mireya Navarro (Erika de la Rosa) in his office.
Constanza Madariaga de Castillo (Marisol del Olmo) showed up to see René and Martha gave her the key to the office. We do think there was a shady motive involved there, even if a more subconscious one. However, it did clearly relate to Constanza being so insistent in seeing him.
Whatever the real motives, Constanza got definitive proof of the affair and flipped her lid. She literally had him on the front lawn begging to come in the house. It was truly pathetic and hilarious.
However, not so funny? It looks like Constanza is willing to forgive him—for a price. We believe he softened her up a bit with a really expensive gift. However, there’s only one thing that will get her to let him off the hook. He has to fire Mireya. And she gets to be there to see it. We’ll see more of this tonight, so stay tuned.
Univision Médicos Spoilers: Tonight
Finally, let’s take a look at what’s ahead tonight. Médicos spoilers indicate we’ll see Marco continuing his downward spiral. He’ll lose a patient and doubt his abilities even more than he already does.
Something tells us this was the Universe basically giving him a slice of humble pie so he really evaluates his motivations and takes things more seriously if he wants to be in this business. Because until the last few episodes, he’s been all about the big bucks in plastic surgery.
He never took the time to think about the seriousness of the profession and the need to be prepared, calm, and not think he’s untouchable. Meanwhile, Cynthia will score a huge victory in her own career—and personally as well.
And we’ll see René follow through on his promise to Constanza, which will surely lead Mireya to lose her cool and do something crazy. It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Who knows? We might even see her willing to turn against him and help Gonzalo Olmedo’s (José Elías Moreno) case.
