It seems everyone is talking about Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) accidental announcement. On Thursday, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) believes this is the best possible news. Of course, we’re pretty sure that’s what she’s referring to. She seemed pretty excited on Wednesday to learn a new grandchild is on the way.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 20: Drama llamas
Of course, we can’t have a Nurses Ball without some tensions. And Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) helped bring it when she kissed Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). It seems Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will still be smarting over that.
In the teasers, she thinks “she” deserves whatever she gets. Has to be referring to Brook Lynn, and we wonder if that’s hinting at a possible issue with her performance. If so, it looks like Deception won’t be making that great of an impression on viewers.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 20: Escalating tension
It looks like things will get worse between Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) Thursday. Ava apparently tells Nikolas to break a leg. And we don’t think she sounded all that sincere there.
We think she’s wishing more of a literal break. We’re expecting to see a fight between these two either before or after, and it could potentially interrupt the telethon.

It seems every Nurses Ball, there’s a show-stopper. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate this year could be Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) time to shine. Nelle promises tonight will be her greatest performance yet.
We assume she’s talking about the great acting job she’ll pull off when Wiley goes missing. And he will go missing. We’re willing to bet big on that. We can’t see anyone actually allowing Nelle a legit spot in the show.

We keep stressing over this Mike Corbin (Max Gail) story. Thursday will give us more reason to hold our breath. In the preview, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) asks Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) if that’s a text from Turning Woods. We hope not, because it would likely be bad news.

Finally, jealousy will be a big part of the Ball tomorrow as well. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has a hard time seeing Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Who can blame him?
They’ve been looking pretty happy since winning the custody case, and it’s got to be hard to have her parading around as a Corinthos wife.
Meanwhile, Sasha Gilmore struggles with her emotions. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers hint she’ll get upset about the same thing as Chase. Of course, we have a feeling her way of dealing with it will be more drugs. Not a very promising situation for the big Deception debut.
