ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for August 14th reveal Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will have a lot of explaining to do over her recent actions. Plus, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) gets involved in some family drama while the big event begins.
Which, that unveiling looks like it’ll be the beginning of huge problems for Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 14: Lucy, you got some ‘spaining to do…
First, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) put Lucy in a very awkward position. It seems this will only get worse. In the promo, we see Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) claim Lucy is hiding something. We’ll see her talk about this with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) Friday.
Might she ask him to use his connections to do some digging? We’ll have to wait and see. But, it would be a good move on her part. Unless, of course, he ultimately feels forced to keep quiet due to Valentin’s involvement.
Maxie won’t be the only one with issues over Lucy’s vote. We’ll see Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) back, and he wants to know what Lucy has done. By the look on his face, he is not going to let her off easy. We can’t wait to see how Lucy squirms her way out of this. Herring in great at scenes like this, and really brings the laughs.

Elsewhere, we see a problem ahead for Elizabeth and Franco. They fought a little about her going to the portrait unveiling. On Friday, Elizabeth says she doesn’t want to support an event that celebrates “him”. Harsh, Elizabeth.
Maybe you need to take a step back and revaluate your life choices. This looks like it comes up in a conversation with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James), by the way. On Friday, she’ll be curious about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
How Elizabeth didn’t give an earful to the board, by the way, before their vote about the whole kidnapping thing with Cyrus, we don’t know. Even if there was no evidence, it seems like she would’ve at least tried. Doesn’t seem like this was a huge secret at GH at this point.

Plus, General Hospital spoilers indicate the big unveiling begins tomorrow. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will drop by the Cassadine estate to talk. At least it looks like he’s the one she asks, “What would make it the right time?” Later in the episode, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will thank Lulu for her support.
Plus, Ava Jerome (Maura West) believes this will be a night to remember. We think Franco will agree, and get close to Ava here. He’ll say they have all night.

Finally, Anna asks Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) if he’s going to invite his father to the wedding. Apparently, she wants him to make amends with his past. He seemed a bit uncomfortable there, so we expect this to be a sticking point between them.
