ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal we’ll see Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) back in the picture after a brief absence. It’s not going to be pretty, and we are here for the awesome performance to come. However, we wonder if this latest twist will be a key factor in exposing Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Let’s take a look at what we know, and what will likely be.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Painful news

First off, what looked like a potential fun moment between Robert and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) turned tragic fast. Instead of seeing these working together, Robert got the bad news his old love, Holly Sutton Scorpio (Emma Samms) died. This inspired us to read up a bit on the character and we’re still not sure she’s really dead. She was believed dead once before and showed up again. If this is true, we think we know what happened.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The only suspect

First, if she is actually dead, we think Peter is the one to blame. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that he asked someone to put a distraction in motion. He’s so desperate to get Robert off his trail, we can definitely see him stooping this low. However, we think he made a huge mistake either way. If Holly is dead on his orders, he just dug himself deeper into an abyss of crime that completely contradicts his “changed man” narrative. That will make his inevitable downfall even worse, as well as the damage to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

However, if she isn’t dead, Peter is still likely responsible and it was a stupid move. It’s not like someone can’t verify this. If he didn’t already try, we’re sure Robert will eventually want some answers, and that could easily expose the con. For that reason, there’s only two other options he’d have.

    ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hostage?

We think if he didn’t kill her, she’s currently held hostage by some goons Peter August hired. If he couldn’t find her, we do think he paid off some people to make sure her “death” is confirmed for Robert. He just doesn’t know what he’s gotten into. From what we’ve heard of the character in the past, and what we’ve personally seen of him now? He’s tough. He’s a man of action, and he likely won’t wallow in misery long.

Eventually, we believe he’ll start to doubt the story. And then he’ll do everything humanly possible to prove whether or not she’s dead and, if so, who did it. He’ll obviously suspect Peter, and we know how he gets when it comes to exposing the man who he feels is a threat to people he cares about. This might just be the final nail in Peter’s coffin, and we honestly can’t wait.
