ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that the most recent episode gave déjà vu for more reasons than one. For this week, we’ve been seeing more of Sonny’s kids. But a specific plot line is making us wonder if there’s a message here, or if they’re just repeating themselves over again. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Seduction, again
First, we look back to Thursday’s episode. This saw a new physician being introduced. One who was encouraged to apply so he could get close to Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and seduce her. At the time, she and Patrick J. Gibbons (Jason Thompson) were separated, and obviously not on good terms with a co-worker either. There were plenty of amusing catty moments as this new hire was given the run down. Obviously, it ultimately didn’t succeed, but it’s a trendy plot.
Not long before that, we were shown another throwback episode where we saw the beginnings of Brook Lynn Ashton (Adrianne León) also seducing someone on another’s orders. That time, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was the target. And it’s still a source of tension between her (now played by Amanda Setton) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan). We’re hoping this downtime (and the restrictions likely to be in place) will help refuel the creative fires. Because seeing how close together those plots were is a bit disappointing.

Also, we had some more repeat drama for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Back when Friday’s episode first aired, she was about to get investigated by the BAR association for a recent case. She’d been accused of purposefully giving substandard representation to a client, and in danger of losing her license. Obviously, she got it back/never lost it, because she just caught up in the same situation again. Only this time, it was because she lied about her relationship with Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan). Last we saw her, she was trying to figure out who she is if she’s not a lawyer. Let’s hope they can give her a happy resolution to this situation—like, maybe a change of career. One where she’s not so likely to fall into ethics issues.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bonding
Speaking of ethics, Friday’s episode had a change of pace for the Sonny’s kids collection. Until now, it’s almost seemed to be “How Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) screws up”. Today, we got to see him have a heart-to-heart with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) where she admitted her attraction to a woman. Sonny had caught her kissing said woman and wanted to know what was going on. He didn’t pass judgment, and he gave some decent advice. And we loved the way he handled pushing her to open up.
In a similar situation, the episode from Thursday showed another sweet moment where he offered advice to Kristina after the loss of a friend. Watching him share his own story of losing a friend, and encouraging Kristina that it does get better was nice to see.
