ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the show is coming back! While hints were out there, the confirmation came for sure when Joe Flanigan (Neil Byrne) posted a series of videos to his Instagram stories. He talked about being back officially the only a couple of days ago.
Since then, we also had Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) post the good news as well. With several cliffhangers left in May, what can we expect on Monday, August 3rd? Teasers give us some clues. Let’s start with the custody battle.

It looks like we now know who won custody of Wiley. Teasers hint at Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) being shaken and demanding to see her child throughout the week. So, Monday should see Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) prevail in that battle. We want to be happy about this, but the sneaky and obvious tactics both sides employed should have had that kid with anyone else.

Given all that, here’s how we hope the whole thing goes down. We want to see that judge call out each party for their obvious fake weddings—especially Nelle. She made the biggest show of it. But, Michael did have a wedding that wasn’t exactly legally on the level, either.
There was a waiting period, and they didn’t even date it well. If they were going to pull shady stuff with the license, they should have dated it a full day beforehand. Not get married at midnight to have to technically be the next day.
That’s something else the judge should call into question, as well as the other accusations on both sides. They need him to be firm and clear that this stops now. Otherwise Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nelle might ensure no peace for this family.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: (Un)sweet victory
This victory will be a double-edged sword. Obviously, Michael will be happy to have custody of his son. And we’re sure Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be happy as well. She adores Wiley. However, they also just signed up to deal with Nelle for the next 18 years.
For Willow, that’s a big sacrifice, because Wiley isn’t even hers. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers tease Nelle will be a headache right from the beginning, as she’s described as being “confrontational” one day, and is said to demand time with Wiley another day. Michael and Willow likely won’t have Wiley down for the night for the first time before things heat up.
On the good side—for them—they are said to grow closer the first week back. Obviously, raising a child together and dealing with the angry mom will be good for that. But they’ve been putting signs out there for a while a real love could develop. We’re trying to keep an open mind, but we personally liked him with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), so it’s going to be an adjustment.
