The final trailer for Netflix’s The Witcher is out now! Only one week left until the release of the series and fans are going nuts. The final trailer shows epic battles on a large scale, more of the princess’s story and Henry Cavill adding his natural charm to Geralt. The final trailer gives us even more promise of the exciting series (if that is possible). We’re going to go through all of this and more!

We’ve seen the battle of Helm’s Deep in Lord of the Rings, we’ve seen the epic final battle of HBO’s Game of Thrones. You think we wouldn’t be able to be impressed anymore, but here we are! The Witcher’s final trailer has a glimpse of an enormous battle that could stack up with Game of Thrones and fans are pointing that out.
We already knew we would see Henry Cavill perform his own swordplay, but I don’t think we realized the scale of the world in which The Witcher would take place, and the few shots we see of the immense battle really sets the stage.

Princess Cirilla must flee to find help from Geralt of Rivia. This sets in motion the whole series essentially. Not only is it Geralt’s “destiny” to protect the girl and slay demons but the world depends on it.
We see a bit more of Cirilla and her life before meeting Geralt, and things don’t seem to be going well. Luckily for us, that’s all about to change!

I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times. Every one has. Henry Cavill is the perfect casting as Geralt of Rivia. We all know it to be true. He perfectly personifies Geralt’s quiet charisma and inner turmoil. Not only does he have the look, the acting chops, and the perfect attitude though. The man is a fan of the novels and games! He is one of us! He knows the character and what fans expect.
