‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) is going to be forced to make one of two choices: either fight or flight. That’s because she has been nearly abducted by someone who she believes is connected to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Here’s what you need to know.
According to Soaps in Depth, ‘General Hospital’ co-head writer Dan O’Connor puts it this way, “Nikolas argues that she needs to leave town and go underground for her own safety. I think this is the first time she has realized just how lethal the players are in the conspiracy she has involved herself with. And she has to think about her daughter’s safety as well. What’s best choice she can make to make sure her daughter is untouched by this?”
‘General Hospital’ News: Hayden Faces A Very Difficult Choice
Apparently, there aren’t very many choices out there for Hayden Barnes. In fact, whatever choice she makes will have major implications for her daughter Violet and Finn Hamilton (Michael Easton). And let’s not forget Anna (Finola Hughes), who has just returned to Port Charles to find out that the love of her life has a secret daughter that no one previously knew about!
Co-head writer Chris Van Etten says that despite the circumstances, everyone is trying to make the best of things. He adds, “There is no way that Anna would not look on this little girl sympathetically and with generosity and kindness. But this is a situation that has been thrust upon her and Finn out of the blue. Certainly, the two of them never broached the subject of having children of their own. So, there is a lot of adjusting to be done, and I would say that the jury is still out on how Violet’s introduction to their life will ultimately impact it.”
