‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers bring good news for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), a wake-up call for Bradley Cooper (Parry Shen), and a change of heart for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). There’s also a surprising turn in the Haunted Star action, as well as more Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) drama. If you missed it, let’s get to the ‘General Hospital’ recap for the day.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Confession aftermath
Sasha’s lost her name thanks to her confession, and she’s also got Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) fighting mad. When Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) leaves them alone a minute, he confronts her, demanding to know if she told Michael the truth. Sasha thinks that what she does with her life is none of his business.
He disagrees. His and Nina’s happiness is tied to this secret, which makes that his business.
The argument gets interrupted by Nina, and Sasha wants to tell her the truth right then and there. As the Soap Gods would have it, Michael just happens to knock at the door. Nina is happy to see him and can’t leave the feuding couple alone fast enough.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Spilling his guts
Earlier, Michael Corinthos had been approached at the hospital by Willow, who’d been there for an interview and was quickly drawn into a last-minute concert by some of the kids. She notices Michael doesn’t look happy and wants to return the favor he’d done for her before. Michael’s reluctant at first, but eventually spills the vague version of the story. Willow seems to think that this sounds like a situation where he could be a bit more lenient.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Forgiveness?
Michael seems to take this to heart, as he visits Sasha. Once everyone else is gone, he concedes that while what she did was still wrong, she also had good reasons to and had no actually intent to harm/manipulate anyone like Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Sasha reiterates how horrible she feels and that she’s ready to spill the beans to Nina. Michael agrees that Nina has the right to know, but thinks that news can wait a bit.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Planning
Valentin and Nina continue their wedding planning today. Nina actually would like Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to be the one to give her away. Valentin’s a bit bold to be going through with this as though the whole thing isn’t possibly about to crash down on him. That man is either confident af or he’s just that stupid. We can’t decide which. Either way, he’s looking for a world of trouble. It’s not likely Michael would suggest Sasha wait until after the wedding to break the news.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Man up
Speaking of Liesl, Brad is furious to learn that Julian Jerome (William deVry) had tampered with Liesl’s car, only to put things back as they should be. Guess those flashbacks of Kim did the trick after all. Anyway, he goes up one side of Julian and down the other, calling out for chickening out and allowing Liesl to continue to hang this over their heads.
Julian counters with a little reality check. He thinks that Brad needs to clean up his own messes instead of ordering others to. Besides, he thinks what Brad wants is a mistake and leads to a slippery slope. Others know this secret, too, like Nelle and him. Not to mention Britt. Is he going to take them all out? He suggests that Brad move on, enjoy life, and get on Liesl’s good side instead of being so antagonistic.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Good news
As for Willow, she learns that she’s been hired as a teacher for the pediatric ward. She can’t wait to start the job, and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is happy to be working with her at GH. We’re pretty sure that the concert thing might have help put her over the top.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Surprise guest
It turns out that the uninvited guest on the Haunted Star is Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck). She thinks she has Curtis Ashford (Donell Turner) and Laura Webber (Genie Francis) at her mercy, but Curtis proves her wrong. He pulls a slick move that leads to Cassandra being in their custody. Laura calls the PCPD to get someone there right away.
Cassandra, of course, later believes that she can still take Laura into teaming up against Valentin. Laura reminds her that she doesn’t actually have the authority to help her and she wouldn’t want to if she did. Seeing she’s going to get nowhere fast, Cassandra demands her phone call. Oddly enough, she calls Valentin himself to get some assistance. Okay, we are not even going to try and reason her thinking here.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: It keeps getting worse
As Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) tries to weigh the risks vs. reward of the procedure, Frankendrew is busy at Kim Nero’s (Tamara Braun). They end up in bed, which he can’t be happier about, but Kim’s now feeling a bit guilty. He may not remember being Franco, but he is biologically Franco and made promises. More importantly, she made promises to Julian and has just betrayed him.
Later, Elizabeth learns Frankendrew went to Kim’s and stops by. This is going to get ugly…
