‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate star Galen Gering (Rafe Hernandez) has had to take a little break from the canvas to be with his family. That’s because his son Jensen recently had surgery to remove his appendix. Galen also has another son named Dillon with his wife Jenna.

Sharing a photo from Jensen’s account (which is actually managed by his mom Jenna), the caption said, “If you are seeing this say a prayer for my angel. He’s having surgery to remove his Appendix. UPDATE: Out of surgery and recovering!! I get to see him soon!!! Ty, it meant so much reading all of your messages and prayers while I waited.”
Jenna also shared another clip of Jensen out and about. She wrote, “Jensen is recovering… He’s been through it these last 24 hours but is on the mend. All the prayers worked!! Thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses who cared for Jensen.”

A lot of the Gering family fans commented on the clip with, “Way to go J! He’ll be back to his old self soon!” and “Omg just saw this! I’m so glad he’s recovering! Luv to u all.”
Another fan wrote, “So glad to see you feeling better and as always looking so handsome. It’s god to see you up and moving, Jensen. It’s hard to do but important for your recovery.”

Now as far as dad Galen Gering is concerned, it looks like he’s got a lot of work ahead of him. That’s because his character Rafe Hernandez has gotten himself in the middle of all the drama at Salem. However, it’s great to see that he has such a loving and wonderful family life at home.
We absolutely love seeing photos of his wife and kids and getting updates on them. WE have a feeling that we might be seeing a lot of the boys in the future as they are destined to have great careers just like their talented father!
