Youtuber JoJo Siwa is not here for your hate. The 17-year-old YouTube star and dancing sensation is clapping back at her haters and especially at those parents who say they won’t allow their children to watch her videos anymore now that she’s part of the LGBTQ+ community.
And while she has certainly gotten a lot of support from her fans, she’s also gotten a lot of her hate from her critics, too. Here’s what you need to know.
After one person said that her daughter is never allowed to watch her again, JoJo replied with a swift “OK!” and left it at that. Despite some of the negative responses she has gotten, the former Dance Moms star says that she’s received “the most endless amount of love and support” since she came out.

“Now that the world gets to see this side of my life, it makes me really, really happy,” she said. “Now that I got to share that with the world, it’s awesome…I want people to know that there is so much love in the world and it is so incredible!”
With that said, JoJo noted in her video that she’s not ready to label her sexuality just yet, but she does hope that her fans will live their lives to the fullest.
“Somebody said, ‘What label are you?’ And you know, I have thought about this and the reason I am not ready to say this answer is because I really don’t know this answer,” Siwa shared. “I think humans are awesome. I think humans are really incredible people.”
“… I always believed that my person was just going to be my person,” she added. “If that person happened to be a boy, then great. If that person happened to be a girl, great. I love you guys, I have your backs for forever. If I can give you any advice, do what makes you happy.”
