Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman, The Young and the Restless) is very excited about the new movie that she has filmed for the channel. ‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: A Romance for Egan
The Hallmark Channel is known for its feel good movies and this one will be no different. Egan is starring in Holiday for Heroes on the Hallmark Channel. It will premiere on November 8th. She made the announcement this week on social media and was very happy about breaking the silence.
She told our sources that she plays a character named Audrey. In the movie, Audrey owns a coffee shop and begins to write letters to a first sergeant. She starts to send him coffee, along with the letters. This continues for quite sometime and they finally decide that they will meet face to face.

Just like anyone who has ever had a special pen pal, Audrey has gotten to know Matt and vice versa. She is happy because the movie portrays a very special bond and a unique relationship that later turns very romantic. The story line has already won our hearts, so we are ready for November to arrive!

Egan is no stranger to the spotlight and daytime television. Not only was she a favorite on the ‘Young and the Restless’, she was on All My Children as Annie Lavery from 2006-2011. She was on ‘Young and the Restless’ for a few years and we got to see a special return in July of this year.
