' Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Is Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) Going To Die On Y&R?

‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that Cane Ashby (Daniel Godddard) might soon meet his fate, seeing how his portrayer has been fired from the hit CBS soap. But as many daytime television fans even know, just because you are gone now doesn’t mean that you will be gone forever. Here’s what you need to know!

‘ Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Is Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) Going To Die On Y&R?

Just last month ‘Young and the Restless’ fans were shocked to find out that Daniel Goddard was let go, despite the fact that he is a very well-liked actor by fans, viewers, and even his co-stars. In fact, the news came as a shock to Daniel, who took to his Twitter account almost immediately to let his fans know that he would no longer be on the show. Daniel Goddard had played Cane Ashby for more than two decades.

‘ Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: What’s In Store For Cane Ashby?

While ‘Young and the Restless’ producers have not made any comments about Daniel’s firing, sources have suggested that one of the reasons why he was being let go was because there was no room for him in upcoming story lines. Without Christel Khalil playing his wife Lily Winters, writers simply didn’t know what do to with Cane and his future.

As many fans already know, it is believed that Cane Ashby inherited the Chancellor fortune. But with Cane being out of the picture soon, there’s a good chance that the money might go back to its original source, being Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). While there certainly can be more dramatic twists and turns involved in this situation, it looks like writers have made up their mind as far as who is going to keep the money and who is going to meet their fate soon.

With that said, there’s also a strong possibility that fans might help change the writers’ mind by demanding that Daniel Goddard come back on the show. It happened back in 2011 and it can certainly happen again. Nevertheless, fans will certainly have to tune in to The Young and the Restless each and everyday on the CBS network to find out what will happen next!
