‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 2 find Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) calling Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) during an emergency situation. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has a new threat for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) make up a play nice. Also, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) decides that it’s finally time to get professional help.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers, Friday August 2: Health Concerns Accelerate, Victor Collapses!
It begins with Billy sitting at his therapist’s office. Billy admits that he is having trouble sleeping and that he keeps getting the same nightmares at night about his daughter. He also admits that he’s full of anger and that he hasn’t been the same ever since Adam Newman returned to Genoa City. Billy talks about Adam running her over and then covering it up. He also recalls leaving her in the car with the dog. The therapist wonders if Billy is holding all of his pent up anger for Adam for an accident that could have been avoided. Billy says that if he lets go of his hurt and anger, he might be letting go of Delia.

At Nick’s house, Summer is wondering why he’s in such a good mood. Nick says he’s on his way to see Christian. Summer worries that he might get hurt by Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). Nick says he’s happy to see Summer on his side and also updates her on a new agenda that Phyllis is working on.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor is looking for Adam, who admits that he’s upset about the judge’s ruling. Victor thinks it’s time that he make amends with Nick. That way he can go back to being in Christian’s life. Adam says that he’s not willing to jump through hoops for someone like Nick.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria Not In the Mood For Sharon
At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) sees Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and asks about Christian. Victoria doesn’t look like she’s in the mood to talk to Sharon, but thanks her for encouraging Billy to get professional help. Adam swings by and confronts Victoria about playing dirty. He also hints that Phyllis is up to no good.
Summer arrives at Dark Horse and sees her mother Phyllis. She tries to talk to her daughter, but Summer wants to cut to the chase. Summer gives her mother a hug and says that she forgives her. Phyllis admits that she can be a drama queen at times, but that it’s her “thing.”
Victor swings by at Jabot’s office, much to Jack’s surprise. After Summer arrives, Victor tells Jack about his rare blood disease. He almost collapses. Jack calls the doctor and brings him back into the office. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) tells Victor that his blood pressure was low and that he was lucky that Jack was nearby. Victor says he’s been fighting all his life and he will fight this, too.
