Once upon a time, back in 2004, Britney Spears married a man named Jason Alexander – no, not the one that played George Costanza (although how hysterical would that have been?), rather, a childhood friend that happened to share the same name as the famous actor.
He was someone that she knew back in Louisiana and she had gone to Las Vegas and gotten married on a whim one day, prompting her team to go into meltdown mode because even though Britney was a completely legal adult (this was years before the conservatorship) and was fully capable of making her own decisions, her parents and the rest of her team were not on board with this decision and within 55 hours the marriage was legally annulled.

Jason Alexander has spoken out about the entire experience on social media saying that when her family found out about the affair that contact between them was cut-off and he was put on a plane and Britney’s number was changed, he couldn’t even call and talk to his alleged “wife”, he did say at the height of the #FreeBritney movement that Jamie was always controlling and he suspected that the marriage being annulled was mainly him, but also Lynne Spears didn’t like the fact that her daughter was married for whatever reason. One has to wonder about the psychology behind that family and what actually makes them tick, but I digress.
Britney Spears has said previously that no one would know about her wedding until after it actually happened, because she has had a publicized wedding before, this time she wanted it to be an entirely private affair. However thanks to Jason Alexander breaking an entering her home right before the event and going live on instagram while he did it, everyone at least knows what her wedding will look like.
Jason Alexander insisted that Britney invited him and that she was his “first wife” and “only wife” which just rubbed some of us the wrong way. Why would he say that when she’s about to get married to another man? At one point during the live he even called out to her!
The surprising thing is, no one that was working on the wedding actually stopped him from walking in. The guy that initially let him past kind of questioned him, but there was no armed security, at least not at first. Though at one point during the live Alexander said that security was coming up to the ridge to apprehend him. They approached him in what looked to be a polaris vehicle and then he managed to make his way inside the home!
He kept calling it the “BS wedding”, a lot of people in his instagram comments were saying that he shouldn’t ruin the day for her but it seemed that he wasn’t concerned with that. He also expressed surprise that her family wasn’t there.

Matthew Rosengart, Britney’s attorney, released a statement saying that he looked forward to working with the Sheriff’s department in order to “prosecute Mr. Alexander to the fullest extent of the law.” we love to see it! Stay tuned!!!
