‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers tells that Moriah Plath now has purple hair! We all know that Moriah’s been on a hair journey recently as told in the Plathville extras on Discovery Plus, however she did reveal in her makeup routine that the black streaks that she has been sporting were actually fake.
They were clip-in hair extensions and not her real hair, so everyone in the fandom ragging on them could calm down. (There was some hate, saying she looked like someone from TRL in 2002, but seriously, what’s wrong with being a little nostalgic? Sometimes the early 00’s fashion trends were kind of cool. She didn’t get to embrace them back then, let a girl live!)
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Now she has decided to embrace the purple.
However this isn’t the first time she’s had purple hair, the first time she sported a purple ‘do’ was for her film role pre-Plathville where she was in a Christian film in which she played a young teenage girl who just wanted to break free, not unlike her own actual life on Welcome to Plathville.
However, that time the hair was just a wig and it was just for the film role, Kim and Barry would have never let her experiment with actual hair-dye, she got a lot of flack for experimenting with minimal makeup on season 1 of the show before moving out in season 2.
She also posted another bunch of pictures with her purple do at another roller skating outing with Ethan, Olivia, Micah, Max, and a new person – Nathan Meggs? Actually, he’s not all that new at all, he is actually Olivia’s brother, so he is technically her brother-in-law.
It’s been speculated in the fandom if this is the crush that Lydia has been hinting about all this time because as of right now, we still dont’ know who that guy is but some people seem to think that Lydia is crushing on someone who would technically be her brother-in-law.
Let’s hope not, because that whole situation smacks of dueling banjos and I don’t think that the Plaths, even though they’re from Georgia, are quite that backward. Though, if that were the case it would definitely explain why on earth Kim and Barry are reluctant to let Lydia be in touch with this guy, because they’re technically family and that would be awkward.
Also, Kim wouldn’t want two siblings that could potentially break free corrupting two of her kids, especially since Lydia seems more like Hosannah was, the ‘perfect’ one. Either way, Lydia was not at this outing so perhaps this was just something that the free Plaths did together. We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
