From Welcome to Plathville, fans are curious about what happened to Lydia Plath. The third season grew in popularity on TLC and we saw more of the younger Plath children, including Lydia. She is the third oldest daughter and she is ready to get a little more independence as well. She has seen her older siblings growing up, moving out, and exploring the world that their parents have kept them from. She still has her focus on Jesus being the love of her life right now.

As soon as Moriah Plath was able to get out of the house, she took that step and quickly. Lydia is a lot different than Moriah because she feels that she is connected to her religion and her faith. She has found solace in her religion and it has gotten her through a lot of difficult times.
Welcome to Plathville: Lydia Plath Update
From what we have seen on the show, Lydia seems to be the most well-behaved of the older Plath children. She spends most of her days in her prayer closet and this seemed very odd to viewers. Fans of the show have seen some changes in Lydia though and perhaps, her older siblings are starting to wear on her.
Kim and Barry Plath are probably very worried about what Lydia will do now that she is 18 years old. Will she stay at their farm or will she decide to follow her older siblings? It looks like she has been out and about more than thought she would and she has made an Instagram account of her own.
We all know that her parents didn’t want her to be on social media, so this is a pretty big step for her to break their rules. She has been showing off her musical stylings on her Instagram account as well. She released a new single on YouTube and it is titled, “One With the Father.”
Lydia has been traveling a little bit and got a chance to go visit Moriah in Florida. They shared some photos and videos with each other and their fans were happy to see them having a great time together. Lydia is sharing more of her life with her fans and it doesn’t seem as if Kim has made any objections to her having an Instagram account, but she is 18 years old now, so they can’t really say too much, can they?
