Welcome To Plathville fans have been noticing too many signs to ignore in the rumored break up of super cute couple, Max and Moriah. Welp, it is a rumor no more.
Now, months after the fact, Max has taken to his brand new YouTube channel to confirm the split and reveal he cheated on the woman we all watch him give a promise ring to!
In the almost 20 minute video that detailed Max’s journey of self-discovery and personal healing, he explain how, after Moriah moved to Florida with older brother Ethan Plath and his Wife Olivia Plath, troubles began almost immediately.
Welcome To Plathville: Max Kallschmidt Admits to Cheating on Moriah Plath as he Finally Confirms Split
Though he didn’t give too much backstory, he explained there were clashes between him and Ethan and (especially) Olivia, and that the distance between he and Moriah started to wear on their relationship.
Things finally came to an end four months ago when Max joined a buddy out at a bar with the intention of being a wingman. It was Max, however, who met another woman who he insists he did not sleep with, but did “cross several boundaries” with.
Max knew he had to be honest with Moriah, who burst into tears and broke up with him on the spot, however, they did continue trying to build the relationship back- but it just wasn’t working.
Max then surprised viewers by saying it was Kim Plath who helped him the most when he went to visit Moriah’s parents. When speaking with Kim and Barry, Kim suggesting Max go to therapy and work on himself.
As he has been doing this, and taking to therapy like a duck to water, Moriah has been finding herself also, usually through her music.
The pair have finally cut romantic ties, yet remain in each other’s corners as friends.
While fans are sad that Max and Moriah are no longer together- one key thing we learned at the very end of the video is that Max has opted out of being a part of season 4 of Welcome to Plathville.
While Max fans are sad he won’t be appearing, fans of the TLC reality show are delighted that it looks like there will be a much anticipated fourth season.
No announcement about a new season has been officially made yet, but fans are expecting to be able to watch the Plath family return to their screens around August of 2022.
