‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that last year, a lot of things happened for Moriah Plath. Including moving away from home, dating her first boyfriend, receiving her first kiss, and even experiencing her first heartbreak.
The good news is that she and boyfriend Max, have since gotten back together and she says the number of kisses has skyrocketed since then. Currently, she’s living with her brother Micah Plath, who is on his own journey from being a down-home country farm boy to a certified city-slicker – and model! Well, well, well!
‘Welcome to Plathville’: How Time Flies! Max And Moriah Have Been Dating A Year?
Moriah and Max are still going strong from the looks of it and are definitely still in what we would call a honeymoon phase. She went from being a completely shy flower last year when she first started dating Max, and giving him almost no attention at all, to having him help make her bed while she does her make-up in this new scene that we’re seeing from Welcome to Plathville.
Moriah says that in her household she grew up with the belief that there should be no kissing until marriage (Duggar Style) and there was very limited physical contact in the home, even between her Mom and Dad. However, Moriah says that none of those teachings really resonated with her and she didn’t feel too much guilt over leaving them behind because, in her words, “That’s not what I want.”
If you think there’s any tension between Micah and Max, then you’d be wrong, these guys get along as if they’re bros! They definitely compete for feats of strength, and Max says that Micah wins most of those competitions, but he also says that he doesn’t really try that hard. Micah however is out to prove that he is one fit dude, and it shows. He’s been getting modeling gigs, including a teeh-whitening campaign. Good for him, we stan the hustle!
Moriah says of her relationship with her parents, that it’s gotten better since it was last year and that instead of holding grudges like she’s seen Ethan do, that she wants to move past what was bothering them.
While that is a healthy way of looking at things, one wonders just how badly Ethan and the Plath’s relationship has deteriorated since last year, because we did see him walk away from the family ‘permanently’ because of Kim’s non-acceptance of his wife, Olivia.
We never exactly knew why Kim didn’t want Olivia around the kids, but Olivia mentioned on her IG page that she was a Biden supporter in the last election… with Barry’s comment last year of “Good luck living in bondage” one kind of wonders if those two things were correlated in any way.
That aside, it seems for now that Micah and Moriah are doing well. There was nothing about Moriah’s music career in this clip, but then again, Moriah has been shy about talking about her music, seeing as she sees it as something extremely personal. Still, we want to know when she’ll be on the charts. Welcome to Plathville premiere’s Aug. 24th on TLC, stay tuned!!!
