Now that we know for certain that Kit Harington has been working diligently with producers at HBO to get a Jon Snow sequel series off the ground at the network, we wonder, was Kit’s female counterpart, Emilia Clarke, completely satisfied with how she ended her stint on Game of Thrones?

We’ve heard from Gwendolyn Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth, on the show and she has said that she has not ruled out appearing on the spin-off but has not yet talked to Kit Harington himself about it. We don’t know what the sequel series will entail, all we know right now is that it will happen after the Game of Thrones series and it will focus on Jon Snow.

Was Emilia Clarke dissatisfied with the ending of Game of Thrones?

But what about Emilia Clarke, AKA Danaerys Targaryen, the mad queen herself? Some people feel that Dany’s madness was simply hereditary, others feel that Dany had been driven mad by grief and acted accordingly, but how did her actress feel about Dany’s big swan song.

She said that she tried not to feel any which way about it, after all, she is an actress and its her job to act the role she’s given but she did say that she was a little incensed over the fact that Jon Snow himself didn’t really have to go through anything and essentially, he “got away with it”.

    Meaning, murdering Dany.

According to an interview back in 2020, she said she was not ruling out the possibility of returning, even reprising her role as Dany in the Jon Snow sequel. How would they explain that? Well, we don’t exactly know yet, but it’s been theorized that Drogon, Dany’s Dragon, took her to Volantis where the red priests (think Melisandre) all reside and it would seem that The Lord of Light, AKA the deity that helped to bring back Jon Snow, is partial to Targaryens.

Of course Drogon would get her to a place that could potentially bring back his Mom from the dead… but… would it work? Or was that a Jon Snow only thing? Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Stay tuned!!!
