There’s a new report that says Vladimir Putin is so worried that someone might poison him that he’s reportedly fired about 1,000 people from his personal staff. According to a report from Inside Edition, close ties to the Kremlin who leak information to them confirmed a chilling action Vladimir Putin took about a month ago. According to the report, the Russian president suddenly started firing his own personal staff, there were about 1,000 people who lost their jobs.
Vladimir Putin Is Worried That Someone Might Poison Him
According to the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a “group of influential” members of the “Russian elite” are trying to get rid of their boss, one way or another. In fact, a Ukrainian intelligence service claims that a successor to Putin has already been chosen in the form of FSB director Oleksandr Bortnikov.
“It is known that Bortnikov and some other influential representatives of the Russian elite are considering various options to remove Putin from power,” the Chief Directorate of Intelligence said.
“In particular, poisoning, sudden disease, or any other ‘coincidence’ is not excluded.” Meanwhile, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky says that he’s ready to negotiate with Vladimir Putin, for better or for worse.
“I’m ready for negotiations with him. I was ready for the last two years. And I think that without negotiations we cannot end this war,” he told CNN. “I think that we have to use any format, any chance in order to have a possibility of negotiating, possibility of talking to Putin. But if these attempts fail, that would mean that this is a third World War.” Zelensky has urged more negotiations in recent days as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine nears its fourth week.
