British Royal Family News suggests that Queen Elizabeth will have yet another reason to hold her head down in shame because of her son, Prince Andrew, and his connection to the controversial but dead financer Jeffrey Epstein. New reports say that the U.S. has officially demanded that Britain hand over Prince Andrew so he can be quizzed over his links to Epstein. In what many people are calling a bombshell move, the Duke of York is now caught up in a criminal probe for the first time. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the Daily Mail’s Rebecca English, a source close to the Duke of York’s legal team says that discussions with the DOJ are subject to strict confidentiality rules, as set out in the guidelines. Therefore, the source adds, “We have chosen to abide by both the letter and the spirit of these rules, which is why we have made no comment about anything related to the DOJ during the course of this year. We believe in playing straight bat.”

Rebecca adds that for those wondering, Prince Andrew has had his own legal and PR teams ever since he decided to step back as a senior working royal. What’s more, Buckingham Palace no longer comments or deals with any enquiries on his behalf.

Needless to say, it didn’t take very long for Rebecca’s fans to comment on all of the speculation. However, many pointed out that the U.S. has refused to extradite Anne Sacoolas, the woman who was accused of killing 19-year-old Harry Dunn back in August of 2019. Some Twitter followers replied with, “I agree with this but they should hand over Harry Dunn’s killer first,” along with, “Agree!! Not defending Andrew but they must cooperate too. Send her first!”
