While we think her contribution to the song was oversold—one can barely hear her through a lot of it—it was a great victory for her as takes one more step toward getting back the career she stepped away from. Britney Spears responds to Jayden James’ interview
Now, Britney’s younger son, Jayden James Federline, opened up in a documentary. Throughout the interview, he presents a different light on the Spears family than Britney has, especially praising Lynne Spears and Bryan Spears. He also speaks briefly on her social media, as well as how he and his brother look out for each other, helping each other with their mental health. However, there was one thing Jayden agreed with in the interview—the conservatorship went on too long. He also spoke about feeling he was favored over his brother, Sean Preston Federline. Apparently, the assertions in this chat did not sit well with their famous mother.
Britney Spears fires back
In an Instagram post, Britney Spears responded to the situation, starting with addressing the concerns over her topless Instagram photos. Said Spears, “I hope my kids one day understand my reasoning of my play in water revealing myself as any woman would being held under blankets and supervision of the conservatorship.”
Like Jayden in his interview, Spears also expressed a desire to one day be able to speak about things openly in person. She also called out her ex, claiming not only does he not work, but he also smokes weed daily. She then proceeded to call him hypocritical to criticize the media while also doing interviews, as well as allowing their son to. Spears continued the post by praising her sons’ talents and talked about being proud of them. She ended the message claiming she’s failed as a mother if her sons do not understand that what Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears did is wrong.
What’s next for Britney Spears?
Obviously, there’s a lot going on and no one but the Spears and Federline families know the true situation. However, we believe what’s been presented so far from all sides shows there’s a lot of healing that needs to be done. We’ll see if this could be a first step toward that.
