Britney Spears has celebrated the release of her song ‘Hold Me Closer’ featuring Elton John by going topless.

The star recently deactivated Instagram on the basis that she chose happiness. And yet, the star’s Twitter account was fully on show when she decided to bare nude to her fans. In the picture here, we can see the singer is sitting on her bed. She is squeezing her breasts with her hands, as she looks on into the distance.
The single has by all accounts done extremely well. It has topped the charts in several countries, something which Britney made her fanbase well aware of. And in order to celebrate such a monumental feat, Spears decided to do it in her own way.
In the clip here, we can see Britney relaxing in her bathtub as she is delighted by the news. She is then alleged to have said the following: “Hello Sir Elton John. We are, like, number one in 40 countries. Holy s–t! I’m in the tub right now and I’m about to go have the best day ever, and I hope you’re well!”
Despite the clear success that Britney was having, a certain subset of the fanbase were not pleased with the way she was behaving. This was on the grounds that her nude posts were in poor taste. Meanwhile, others were of the view that she had to acknowledge that she also has a younger fanbase who may not want to see her in this light.
One person wrote: “What is Elton thinking ..imagine if Dua Lipa released something like this on their release date of “Cold Heart!” I love Britney..let’s not sugar coat it.. she in need of guidance..fact.”
