Univision Rubí spoilers reveal Rubí Pérez Ochoa (Camila Sodi) knows best. Or, she thinks she does. But her plan is sure to backfire, and karma’s already gotten her big-time. But who else is getting a taste on their own medicine? Here’s what you need to know.

Univision Rubí Spoilers: Revenge is sweet—sometimes

We don’t blame Maribel de la Fuente (Kimberly Dos Ramos) at all for being upset. What Rubí did to her was an ultimate betrayal, and she really doesn’t feel bad for it. So, it’s understandable Maribel would want little payback. Unfortunately, she went too far.

In the Friday, February 7th episode, she invited Rubí to her home for a lunch. On the surface, that seems innocent. However, she also invited Héctor Ferrer Garza (Rodrigo Guirao) to join them. Neither knew the other would be there, and it wasn’t good when they came across each other. Maribel seemed to revel in the obvious discomfort from Rubí, and this is where we can’t. Yes, Rubí deserves karma. However, putting her face-to-face with someone who’s becoming increasingly violent doesn’t seem like a fair payback. It’s going way too far. But there’s another reason why her actions were a bad idea.

    Univision Rubí Spoilers: Payback x2

Rubí obviously didn’t take well to that. Who would? This guy is controlling and dangerous. Obviously not what Rubí expected when she hooked up with him. And while stealing your best friend’s man and being a gold digger isn’t exactly good, it’s also not an offense worthy of death. So, it’s no wonder Rubí decided to get back at her friend and take care of another issue at the same time.

Speaking of her being a gold digger, she is not thrilled with Cristina Pérez Ochoa (Tania Lizardo) being with Cayetano (Antonio Fortier), a lowly driver. After confronting her sister about her engagement and how it’s going to help sink her niece deeper into the world of poverty, she decided to take action.

Rubí spoilers reveal she struck a deal with the thugs who once attacked her and tried to rob her house. She would help them rob Maribel’s home, who’s completely loaded, in exchange for a favor. Given future Fernanda Pérez Ochoa’s (Ela Velden) love/hate thing with her aunt, and the conversation she once had with Christina about something Rubi had done, we can only guess at what happens. While we don’t know if she’s evil enough in this version to have someone killed, we do think she planned for the thugs to scare her potential in-law away. This likely involved some serious injury. This is where both girls get their karma.

    Univision Rubí Spoilers: Cosmic justice

As the episode ended, we see both women facing some bad situations. Rubí spoilers indicate the thugs invaded Maribel’s home. They have her parents tied up, and one of the robbers shot at Maribel, hitting her false limb.

At the same time, Héctor found Rubí and ordered her to come with him at gunpoint. He currently has her locked up and totally at his mercy. While we know she survives to tell her story almost 20 years later to “Carla Rangel” (Velden), we’re sure this won’t be an easy escape, or that she’ll get out unscathed. Looks like some characters are better off letting the past go, as well as their need to push their ambitious ways on others.
