She’d recently claimed Luis Alberto was the one who made all those promises that led Mariana’s father to kill himself. Of course, Sandra was lying and now she’s ready to tell Mariana the truth. Of course, she’ll want money to get out of dodge as fast as possible.
Somehow, Mariana will come up with the cash and learn who hired Sandra to lie. This will obviously make her feel bad and she’ll want to apologize to Luis Alberto. The thing is, Luis Alberto won’t appreciate Mariana believing such lies about him and will throw Soraya’s belief in him and loyalty in Mariana’s face.
Whatever ugliness between them, it looks like there will be a brief truce, at the very least. See, Sandra will tell Mariana she has a photo of the real crook, so Mariana will want Luis Alberto to join her. Given Soraya will be looking for Luis Alberto later, we assume he’ll take Mariana up on that. If only to see who framed him for the scam.

So, he’ll take Soraya’s medicine. If Soraya’s previous actions are any indication, we think whatever he’s taking is another of the bruja’s concoctions.

It looks like she’ll take the first step toward that goal by showing Alberto Salvatierra (Guillermo García Cantú) a recording of Patricia talking badly about Soraya. We seriously hope Alberto will be a bit smarter about things than his son is. Soraya is being all sweet and concerned about Luis Alberto, but she’s been backstabbing them all this time. So, we’d hope that he’ll think twice before just firing someone over this.
