It looks like Trisha Paytas lied about quitting youtube. Honestly, we kind of expected that because Trisha is one of the queens of internet clout chasing and has been doing it for years, so we should really not expect anything less from her, but for just a second we wondered if she was serious and as it turns out, she’s not.

Recently, she confessed that she didn’t know what direction her content was going to take on the channel, but then she had tweeted out shortly before that that she was quitting her main youtube channel to focus solely on her ASMR channel and that it was nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and tingles over there.

Recently, a fan on Twitter said that her main channel subs missed her and that they hoped that she continued to post-pregnancy updates and a birth story later, to which Trisha replied that she was actually going to post a bumpdate this week and that she would definitely be back.

She also said that she hoped no one took her tweet about quitting too seriously and that it was just a “thought in the moment” that she had.

Wow, She Really Had Us Going!

We all thought for a hot second that the Queen of Clout Chasing was Tana Mongeau but it looks like the crown has just been usurped by Trisha because that is some excellent clout chasing and trolling skills all in one. Granted, she’s got a whole decade on Tana and knows a few tricks that 23 year old Tana hasn’t stumbled across yet.

It looks like the goal was to get more subscribers for her ASMR channel and that was the reason that she said that she was going to quit, so that people who truly wanted to see her content would just go subscribe over there. That may have fooled some people but did we honestly think that Trisha Paytas was going to quit youtube?

No, why? Because she loves it entirely too much. Youtube has been her entire identity for the past decade and she’s not about to give that kind of fame up, even if she is getting hate for it – that really hasn’t stopped her before and it won’t be stopping her now. This is just another way for her name to remain relevant. Stay tuned!!!
