Trisha Paytas really should have sit this one out but she decided to go in on tiktok and insert herself into drama anyway. I mean, it’s tiktok, it’s not like youtube or twitter where slandering people can actually get you cancelled except it’s exactly like that and Trisha forgot, we suppose.
Anyway, so the drama, which had nothing to do with Trisha, actually, involved an indigenous creator on the app called Modern Warrior, who’s real name is Lance. He is an indigenous activist and does a lot to bring attention to that particular community, however, it looks like he may be getting up to some less than savory extra-curriculars.
Trisha Paytas inserts herself in Tiktok drama
Modern Warrior hooked up with another creator on the app, a woman named Chelsea, who said in her own video addressing the situation that when she and Modern Warrior hooked up he had been listening to a podcast on polyamory, and asked her if she would be interested in that sort of relationship, Chelsea declined and said no, she would prefer to be monogamous.
She said that they never talked about it again, it was never brought up and it was assumed that when they were together that he had respected her wishes… only to find out in the worst way possible that she was wrong.
He not only cheated on her with another woman, but she found out about it when they made a tiktok together and that is how she even found out that they were together. Now, Polyamorous relationships work like this – all parties are consenting individuals.
It’s not that one party goes out and has all the fun while one party stays at home and pouts, no, rather it is a mutual understanding and both parties are free to be non-exclusive to the other, it is heavily discussed and consent is first and foremost in those kinds of relationships. It’s not just an excuse to cheat. So, what Modern Warrior was doing? That was cheating, even by Polyamorous standards.
Where does Trisha Paytas come in to all this drama? Well, she was doing her make-up on Tiktok when she decided to comment on the drama, saying that initially she had decided to follow Modern Warrior because she was uneducated about the Indigenous issue “here in Canada” (but Trisha, you live in California… unless we’ve slipped into that alternate universe where Trisha is Canadian. Poor Canada!), but she didn’t even comment on the consent part of the drama, rather she zeroed in on something completely unrelated by saying that she had always thought that Modern Warrior was gay.
Um, yike, in today’s climate it’s not cool to speculate on people’s sexuality, Trisha, not that it ever was. That can be harmful and even get people killed if they’re not out yet and are already in precarious situations, even if they’re not its still not cool to speculate on something like that. Trisha really should have sat this one out, but… it’s Trisha… she’s going to be Trisha. Stay tuned!!!
