Say it ain’t so! It seems that Kim Plath, one of the stars of the TLC show Welcome to Plathville has been arrested on a DUI and destruction of property charge in Wakulla County, Florida. Authorities say that she had outstanding warrants from another agency and ended up turning herself in to their agency.
So far, authorities are pretty tight-lipped about what happened but suffice to say, Kim Plath now has a mug shot. Of course we are all wondering one thing and that is what on earth happened?! How on earth could Kim Plath, conservative Mom extraordinary, suddenly go off the rails and get herself arrested for a behavior that she claimed to despise so much?
Kim Plath arrested on DUI charge
Wakulla County, the place where she was arrested gives us no clues because we haven’t really heard of anyone in the family showing up in any of the towns associated with that county. The cities are Crawfordville, St. Marks, Panacea, and Sopchoppy.
However they did say that the outstanding warrant was from “another agency” but did not specify which one, which just leads us to even more questions. Now onto what could have possibly happened, because it said that she was arrested for not only a DUI but also destruction of property which implies that she very well could have intentionally destroyed something of someone’s
But what?
Did she finally go full Karen on soon to be ex hubby Barry Plath and destroy something of us? That was our first thought. Our second thought was that she finally decided to challenge daughter in law Olivia to a street race and things got out of hand (I mean, it could happen!) but so far Olivia seems pretty far removed from the chaos. Was her DUI fueled by grief about the divorce or was it an issue with one of the kids?
After all, Lydia Plath did express the desire to want to live with her Dad, did Kim finally flip her lid over that? Was the home that of the friends Lydia had been visiting in Tallahassee? I mean that would kind of make sense, seeing as Ethan Plath recently posted some shade hinting that she may or may not be homeschooling the kids anymore.
Did Kim lose it on a fellow PTA Mom? Or did it simply have something to do with Moriah Plath? There might be something to that theory because as recently as one day ago Moriah posted a video with her dog that was captioned, “As his Mom, it’s important that I pretend to be interested in his passions.” and we do wonder if that was some sort of thinly veiled shade at Kim, simply because it seemed like Moriah was discouraged from following her dreams a lot as a child.
Before that she had posted a picture four days prior with her dog captioned, “I am the happiest I’ve ever been… and I’m not telling you why.” along with a little laughing emoji with it’s hand over its mouth. We’re not saying that Moriah would rejoice in this news because she doesn’t seem like she would be that petty, but the timing is a little interesting is all.
Ethan hasn’t posted anything that we can see aside from the shade about Kim potentially not homeschooling the kids anymore and that was awhile ago. Micah has not posted anything since October 13th, and he seemed to be not addressing anything simply posting thirst trap and bike pictures, before that he had posted a picture with the younger Plath kids.
Two days ago Lydia posted a montage of old Plath family pictures captioned, “Nothing like childhood memories” set to the Trace Adkins song “You’re gonna miss this” which is kind of fitting, theme and shade wise. We wonder what the story is there and if Welcome to Plathville is renewed for a 5th season will it be addressed? Stay tuned!!!
