‘Welcome to Plathville’ breakout star, Moriah Plath has taken to social media like a moth to a flame, or like and normal 19 year old.
Lately, however, followers on both her Tik Tok and Instagram accounts have been wondering about the diamond ring Moriah has been sporting in her last several posts. Could the gorgeous teen be engaged to her boyfriend of just over a year, Max Kallschmidt?

In the Tik Tok video, showing off the newest Plath– Moriah’s new kitten, the huge sparkler was seen on Moriah’s ring finger. The teen played coy, not replying to any of the fan questions about the ring but when another post was uploaded, this time to her Instagram, Moriah was still sporting the ring. This time it was being worn on her right hand.
The IG post was a collection of photos of Moriah, Max, Moriah’s two brothers Ethan and Micah, along with Ethan’s wife, Olivia all at a music festival. Wearing the cutest, skimpy, definitely-not-Plath-approved, Lydia-wont-be-borrowing-that-one-anytime-soon outfit, Moriah was definitely all over her beau, the two looking pretty pleased with life.
Again, the pictures show the ring on Moriah’s opposite hand this time. Perhaps she believed she was being wily by switching sides, or maybe these photos were reversed. Or maybe the piece of jewelry is simply that– just a fun ring to wear (and to get tongues wagging)
If Max and Moriah are engaged, there has been no announcement. Its likely TLC would want the pair to wait until season three of the hit “Welcome to Plathville” airs before letting the cat out of the bad.
Of course we can’t help but wonder what Moriah’s parents, Barry and Kim Plath would have to say. Moriah has been estranged from her parents for her entire relationship with Max, but did introduce him in a season two episode to rave reviews from her parents. But then, it sounds as though they approved of Olivia marrying into the family initially, too. We all know how that turned out.
We sincerely hope Max talked to Olivia first before making the leap to joining the rather eccentric family!
We guess we’ll have to wait for season three of the reality series to air- watch this space for more Welcome to Plathville updates, including a premiere date once we get word!
