TLC ‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers finds that fans were excited when it premiered and they grew very close to the stars. Many of the Plath children are very straight-laced like their parents Kim and Barry Plath. There were other Plath children who were very opinionated though. One of these is Moriah Plath. Her mother, Kim, actually thought she listened to her sister-in-law Olivia Plath too much and she was brainwashing her. During the first season of the show, we saw Moriah and Olivia get closer and Moriah turned to social media to express her gratitude to Olivia.

We saw the Plath family often criticizing Moriah for being rebellious and opinionated. This is one of the reasons that she turned to Olivia for advice and guidance. Kim and Barry agreed to let Moriah go to California with Olivia and that truly opened up her eyes to different cultures and different ways of the world than she was used to in small-town Georgia. Her parents obviously thought Olivia was corrupting her, but Moriah does have a strong opinion about leaving Georgia and traveling the world.

Fans of the show were excited to see Moriah buying a one-way ticket to Minnesota, which is where Olivia and Ethan Plath live. Will she go to college here or start working? Will her new lifestyle be one that her parents can handle? Kim and Barry have their own opinions on Olivia and they don’t like the fact that she introduced their son to television and alcohol. These two things are strictly forbidden in their household.
Olivia has spoken out on social media too and posted on Instagram, “If this past year for you didn’t include getting married and moving 800 miles away, leaving your family behind, processing your childhood and rediscovering yourself, having your in-laws speak ill of you on national tv, and dealing with narcissistic behavior, emotion, psychological, and spiritual abuse every day, then you can’t understand my story.” This went with a picture with her and Moriah.
Viewers of ‘Welcome to Plathville’ are looking forward to seeing a second season, but TLC has yet to release any word on it so far. We are also incredibly happy that Moriah has Olivia for help and guidance in her life. Stay tuned to find out if TLC gives us any new information on season two of ‘Welcome to Plathville’.
