On TLC’s new hit show, Welcome to Plathville, we have seen the Plath family and their nine children. The Plaths live in rural, South Georgia on a 55-acre farm. The children are home schooled and are not allowed to use computers, mobile phones, or any other types of technology. The oldest son, Ethan, is married to his wife Olivia and she has been causing quite a stir on the show. Now Olivia is up in arms about the editing that TLC has done to the show. She is blaming the editing of the show on the drama that is being caused all over social media.
TLC Welcome to Plathville Spoilers: Things Aren’t Always What They Seem
Things really started to heat up on Welcome to Plathville when word got around that Olivia is the one who bought Moriah Plath’s one way plane ticket to Minnesota. Fans got super critical with the girls about this decision and that is when Olivia let everyone know that TLC has been doing a lot of editing to the show that may be showing fans a distorted view of the girls.
TLC Welcome to Plathville Spoilers: Olivia Has Something to Say About TLC
Olivia took to Twitter saying, “Thanks to those who were concerned about my character, calling me a witch and poison. Truth? I’d NEVER buy a plane ticket for a minor without asking their parents, regardless of how I feel about said parents. I had permission. But I guess that’s not a dramatic enough storyline.” This was interesting to read this week after the episode aired with Moriah heading to Minnesota.
TLC Welcome to Plathville Spoilers: The Plath Parents Speak Out
We all know that the Plath parents, Kim and Barry, are extremely strict on their children. Moriah is the most opinionated of their children, according to them. They have had many challenges with her and the relationship that Olivia and Moriah have is not one that they approve of. There isn’t much they can do about it at this point though. Olivia has always been criticized by Kim and Barry and she knows that they do not trust her with Moriah.
Olivia just can’t take some of the show’s fans anymore. In fact, one fan wrote on Twitter, “You could tell by the smirk on your face before Moriah told her parents ou were leaving that her mom was blindsided.” Olivia wrote back, “They already knew everything Moriah said. If I had a smirk, it would have been because I was waiting to see how they played their emotions for the show.” Clearly, Olivia is outraged about how TLC has been editing the show and hopefully we will get to see more of the Plaths if a second season comes out next year. Stay tuned for news on them when we get it!
