TLC’s hit show, Counting On, has millions of fans and the children are very active on social media. One part of the family in particular, Kendra and Joseph Duggar, have fans questioning how much they are worth and how much money they actually have. We have the scoop on it.

By looking at Kendra’s Instagram account, some fans are concerned about how they might be broke. She has started to post ads on her account and these ads are helping her to make money. It looks as if these two may be running low on money or is she doing this just to make more money?

Being on a reality show is tough and means that your whole life is under scrunity and also your finances. Kendra is very active on social media, but she has been advertising for products on her Instagram story. These ads do give her money based on who looks at it, orders, and clicks it. Fans just cannot believe that she is this hard up for money! The post that fans are concerned about was for the “Vanity Planet facial cleansing brush”. Kendra let her fans know how excited she was about it too. The post then showed followers how to use it. Reddit started blowing up with comments on this post. One Reddit user even said the video “was really hard to watch. It is definitely not that hard to be an influencer yet none of the wives are able to do it without looking deeply confused or terrified.”
Kendra is not the only Duggar wife to try and use social media as a way to make money. Jana Duggar promotes Vanity Planet as well. Lauren and Joy-Anna Duggar have done ads for them as well. It isn’t clear how much money the women are making by posting on social media, but they do get paid from being on Counting On as well. In fact, the Duggars that are on the show make thousands of dollars per episode! They earn anywhere from $25,000 to $40,000 each episode!
How are the Duggars low on money if this is the type of paycheck they get? Kendra does not work and stays at home to take care of the home and family. Joseph flips houses to sell them and has also wanted to try his hand in the real estate world. He is working on his license currently.
