TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers have revealed that Ariela’s Mom came to the apartment that she is living in with Biniyam she had some understandable reserves.
She saw the conditions in Ethiopia and was quite appalled. If Biniyam was expecting her Mom to jump for joy when she saw that apartment then obviously he wasn’t familiar with the way American Medical Professionals think.
Ariela’s Mom was an RN, of course the conditions in Ethiopia are not going to be up to her hospital corners standard.
Biniyam says that this apartment that he’s in now is just for a week or two weeks and then they’re moving to their real house, he just has to get everything painted and put the finishing touches on it and then he will be ready to move Ariela in.
Hmm… sounds familiar. Didn’t Jihoon say that he had everything under control while he was off taking naps and being a delivery driver and not having a real job? Comparatively, Biniyam is a much harder worker and does 4-5 jobs in comparison to Jihoon’s ‘double-duty’ as a driver, and I assume those streams of income are enough to support a family, however.

Things happen, and perhaps I’m wrong about Biniyam but there seems to be something about him that screams that he is not ready for this.
After all, this isn’t the first American woman whom he has brought over to Nigeria after she was pregnant. However, due to actual complications with the pregnancy she had to come back to the US and now she and Biniyam’s other child are living in the US, away from Biniyam.
It’s not like this is a secret, Biniyam has said that he regrets what happened with his other child, but sometimes history has a way of repeating itself.
Either way, since they seem to be a couple that’s sweet and genuinely supportive of each other, I hope that Biniyam’s ‘new place’ is as what he described and is in better condition (and perhaps a better neighborhood) than the apartment he’s living in now.
I will admit I too was concerned when I saw that big pile of garbage on the street, but, my question is, did Ariela not tell her Mom of what she saw in Ethiopia before? Did she not warn her, “Uh, Mom, they live differently over there.” certainly the conditions must have been mentioned before, unless Ariela was just staying in a really bougie part of Ethiopia in which case, can we see that part? Where is it?
I will say this, in spite of how the outside looked and, the living room in the place actually looked nice, so Biniyam got one thing right, however a single brownie point in the right direction does not a victory make.
