Coming to Netflix in October this year is ‘La Révolution’. Sounds great, but what is it? Well, that we’re not entirely sure about. All we know from the teaser trailer that dropped today is that it’s about France in the 18th century. However, it will tell a different version of that history, more of a “what if” version.
The teaser trailer was exactly that, a teaser, and offered little to nothing about the series, though it sounds as though it will be a multi-episode documentary. According to a very brief description of the video,
“During the 18th century, a new disease makes the aristocracy’s blood turn blue. La Révolution, a revised version of the History of France, available October.”
Netflix’s ‘La Révolution’ Teaser Trailer – A “What If” Of French History Coming October 2020
If you watched the trailer above, you’re probably as intrigued and confused as the rest of us! It seems interesting but we won’t know until the actual release in October. There is no exact date set, so we’ll have to keep an eye open in October to see when it releases.
It will be interesting to see what exactly they mean by a “revised version of French history” and why exactly we will be interested in it. What do you think? Will ‘La Révolution’ be something you tune into? Let us know in the comments below.
