TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Before the 90 Days tease that Stephanie Matto and Erika Owens are the first same-sex couple on the hit TLC show. This made news even before the show began and fans were very excited. The excitement has left us because of just how these two act together. From what we have seen, Stephanie and Erika have only kissed once and Stephanie won’t even hold Erika’s hand. Many fans think the show is scripted and that TLC just wanted to get more viewers from the LGBTQ community. Things just got worse on the last episode.

On the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, we saw Erika and Stephanie going on yet another date. Erika wanted to teach Stephanie how to throw boomerangs. “Today I’m taking steps to go and see that guy that makes some boomerangs because I really want to show her a little bit of Australian culture. And what American doesn’t want to throw a boomerang when they come to Australia?” The women learn more about boomerangs and then get a chance to throw them.

The man that teaches them how to throw boomerangs is named Roy. During their lesson, he asks why she is there and if they are friends. Stephanie tells him that they are “special friends.” Later, she revealed in a confessional that she used that term because she doesn’t know what Roy believes of even feels about the LGBTQ community. She was trying not to offend him or say something that he may consider off color. “I don’t really know what his beliefs are. I really just don’t want to get into a really weird discussion with this man. I kind of just want to focus on the tasks at hand.”
It didn’t seem like Erika was too bothered by the comment because she just laughed about it. After seeing her with Stephanie, it is really hard to tell if she was offended or if it was just silly to her. We will find out soon though. We hope that these two can work out their very strange differences and perhaps Stephanie can get to a place where she can be more intimate with Erika since that is really all she wants.
