TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers indicate that Deavan is back in the US. Considering what we just saw on 90 Day Fiance the other way, Deavan said that since he didn’t get his life together in time and could not support her and the kids (because as we all know, when you migrate to a different country, the spouse who is a resident of that country is considered solely financially responsible for you), that she would be leaving when her Mother left.
Well, I guess Jihoon didn’t get it together in time because guess who wound up back in the states? Deavan. Now, whether or not they’ve actually broken up or not remains to be seen. Deavan is tight-lipped about it and will not say anything because that is a violation of the NDA and since TLC has had a rash of that lately, I’m pretty sure that they’ve tightened their security measures, at least on the language of their documentation that they hand out now.
TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Looks Like Jihoon Didn’t Get It Together In Time
In all honesty, I don’t blame Deavan for going back to the states. I don’t blame her for leaving when her Mom did. She was promised one thing by Jihoon but instead got something that she didn’t sign up for, all in the name of Jihoon wanting to take more naps. It would be more understandable if Jihoon had an actual medical condition that demanded that he have flexible working hours then I could be on his side a little bit more, but so far, that is not the case. Jihoon wanted a flexible schedule so he could literally take more naps.
Jihoon strikes me as the type that is not emotionally mature enough for an adult relationship, especially not the pitfalls of parenting and the territory that comes with having an international romance. He just was not prepared, but he wanted to have his cake and eat it too, so he lied to get what he wanted. He lied to get Deavan over there and involve their young children in this whole mess as well. Drascilla and Taeyang deserve much better. Their Mom has pulled 16-hour shifts (which is completely true, she said that during the holidays at her former workplace she would often work up to that much) in order for them to be able to go to this new, better life in Korea. But that life did not materialize because Jihoon literally can’t lift his head up off the pillow for that to happen.
Considering as of this particular episode she’s still in Korea, I wonder what exactly was the straw that broke the camel’s back in regards to her returning to the US. Did Jihoon try at all during Deavan’s visit to Korea, or was that just something he said so he could get back to naptime? Stay tuned!!!
