TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Before the 90 Days tell us when Ed and Rose from Before the 90 days first met at the airport, we were all worried because at first we didn’t know if she had actually stood him up or not. That’s the way it was looking. Ed looked all the way around that airport and for awhile it looked like his lady love was going to be a no-show, but finally he saw her and and with all the squealing and hugging you’d expect from teenagers they went over and embraced each other. Rose displayed no reluctance, in spite of Ed’s appearance and she seemed so genuinely happy to see him. It made me smile. But for all that happiness, Ed was still grounded enough to realize that upon further glance, maybe he wasn’t Rose’s cup of tea, so even though he was standing right there in front of the girl he loved, he was willing to give her an out if she so desired.
When she said that she was so very happy to see him he looked at her in disbelief and asked, “You promise?” which is probably one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen. He didn’t believe that Rose was truly happy to see him and not just placating him which makes me wonder just how many girlfriends have done this to him in the past. How many times has someone said that they were glad to see him only to throw his appearance in his fast later when they were angry at him? Rosemarie was, at least honest with him, she said she expected him to be a little taller but the only reason is because he had lied to her about his height.
TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Before the 90 Days- Ed and Rose’s meeting was bittersweet!
She told Ed, “You are okay to me.” and Ed, like any guy got his ego a little bruised by that and said, “I don’t want to be just okay to you. I want to be your man!” poor Ed, he desires the same amount of red hot passion that the rest of do. Which is why I am totally glad when she told the camera confessional, “He is my King.” and smiled adoringly at him. He was so proud to know that he was her King, even if he wasn’t the tallest or most handsomest of guys.
From there, things got a little bit questionable because she told Ed that at one point she had stayed in a hotel room and ‘partied’ with five other guys at a hotel, but I’m pretty sure that this happened before they were together, unless I’m wrong about the timeline. We’ll see about that. She is only 23 to Ed’s 54 so she may not think about how it’s going to sound to someone Ed’s age when she says she stayed in a hotel room with 5 guys. Also, how would she feel if Ed told her that? That he had partied with five girls in a hotel room? I just wonder.
